| About Residents Apparel Gallery (R.A.G.) Why look elsewhere when you can find what you need in your own backyard! Residents Apparel Gallery (R.A.G.) is located in one of the hippest parts of the city, Hayes Valley at 541 Octavia. It is the area's newest boutique and it is set apart from the rest in having a unique concept -- local retail shop meets gallery- whereby over 20 local clothing and accessory designers lease floor space monthly and have on display their biography with contact information and such fun facts as what was their 'inspiration' for their current line and where they live and create their designs in the Bay Area.

Editorial Review John S. Brana Jewelry Tasteful Flair for Wear By Jialin Luh (04/27/2007)" The impending arrival of Mother’s Day may have you scratching your head for gift ideas. You’ve worn out the flower arrangements and already gone the spa gift certificate route (which, by the way, never really gets old). Of course, gifts are not necessary to express regard for those near and dear to you, but a thoughtful gift may serve as a touching reminder of appreciation. If the woman in your life finds joy in distinctive style, fine art and beauty in nature, you will want to explore the jewelry of local designer and craftsman John S. Brana. " |
Editorial Review Sixties Invasion By grace chen (08/21/2006)" It's certainly not 1965 but it will be hard to tell when the mod fashions from the Swinging Sixties invade the streets and boutiques of San Francisco this fall. The spirit of the counter-cultural and sexual revolutions, which is deeply rooted in San Francisco, will be here again. " |
Editorial Review San Francisco Sundresses Slick Summer Styles in Your Own Backyard By SFS Staff (08/21/2006)" It's June, and if you're in your thirties like me, you've been invited to at least one wedding this summer. You have absolutely nothing to wear, not a lot of time to trudge all over San Francisco, and you're on a budget. Don't be enticed by the easy way out; steer clear of department stores. It's not worth the risk of showing up at the wedding to find your new hard-earned sundress walking around on another woman. Trust me on this one, ladies. It has happened to me. San Francisco is full of unique boutiques for women's wear and if you know where to go, you won't have to spend a fortune. " |
